FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEXINGTON, KY — Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance will be on-site at Gulfstream Park for the 75th running of the Curlin Florida Derby on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Known as “the biggest race day of the year in South Florida,” the Curlin Florida Derby is a Grade 1 Kentucky Derby prep-race.
As part of Florida Derby Day, Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance will be recognized with a named race on the undercard. After the race, the winning connections will be presented with a Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance branded blanket and commemorative gift bag.
A Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance representative will be on-site to host the winners of the “Off to the Races” VIP Experience online benefit auction. Donated by 1/ST RACING, the Florida Derby Day VIP Experience includes dining for four at Ten Palms Restaurant, trackside breakfast, a guided backside tour, betting vouchers, paddock access, swag bags, and a behind-the-scenes opportunity to watch Peter Aiello call an undercard race from the announcer’s booth.
“The continued support of partners like 1/ST and Gulfstream Park helps make our work possible,” said Stacie Clark Rogers, Operations Consultant, Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance. “We’re excited to be part of Florida Derby festivities and to share our mission with the racing community during these outstanding events.”
