Melissa is a tax director and shareholder at Dean Dorton Allen Ford, PLLC. She has over 20 years of public accounting experience and has served a broad range of clients across various industries throughout her career. She focuses her practice on high-net-worth family groups and the equine industry – providing tax planning, compliance, family office, and accounting services.
Melissa is an executive member of Dean Dorton’s equine industry team and a go-to technical advisor in partnership and equine taxation. She is also passionate about animal welfare. In addition to serving on the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance board, she is a Board Member of the Kentucky Humane Society and past Treasurer and Board Member of the Lexington Humane Society.
