This well-bred son of Lemon Drop Kid out of a grade 1-placed Trippi mare was a $500,000 yearling purchase. Although it seemed like he would be destined for greatness on the racetrack, Sloping had other plans.
Sensing that he would not be a competitive racehorse, his connections decided that his life was best spent off the racetrack. So Sloping found himself at the TAA-accredited Maker’s Mark Secretariat Center in Lexington, KY.
While transitioning from racehorse to riding horse through the MMSC’s Horse Centered ReSchooling Program℠, Sloping found his perfect partner Wendy. In his new home with Wendy, Sloping will begin training for his new career as a show hunter.
